When I was twenty-one and I got an apartment I was like, maybe I want to be an audiophile. So I did a bunch of reading and then I found a $50 receiver at Goodwill, and then I bought two $200 towers and a subwoofer, and I ran the cable, and I was like, you know what, this sounds great, I don't need to go any deeper than this. And I stopped being an audiophile and just enjoyed music.
The year is 2026. A good ergonomic UX for heavy software engineering is to lie back on a chaise in a dim room with your eyes closed and speak your thoughts out loud to your computer at length, much like in a therapist's office.
I would not want to be a young director trying to break out with the name Lance Oppenheim. That's like being named Kobe Einstein. That's a lot of pressure.

Really remarkable that utilitarians finally gained momentum through effective altruism and then immediately invented and got oneshotted their very own utility monster (LLM welfare), something that was only ever meant to be an absurd anti-utilitarian thought experiment.
It's all a kind of stage magic here, you understand. X, the everything app. Everything includes everything you can imagine.

Jacaranda Rosenbaum-Josselewicz is a traveler and "high millennial" tech dilettante who has multiple encounters with Ben across Scenebux and Homonoid. She first reveals her idiosyncratic preferences in the Amsterdam Red Light District, and later meets him as Admiral Rose-Joss at a spaceship bridge simulation convention in Vegas.

POV you have fallen in an alley in Macau and a frontier conversation model inside a Chinese robot is about to hit you with an experimental crotch-mounted Israeli energy weapon (the goybeam).
…this was maybe not worth the bounty.
