The Supreme Court is a death cult and all of these recent decisions amount to thinly disguised accelerationism. They see themselves as a bulwark against anything that threatens to bring hierarchical change to a deeply unequal society (that they love!) /1
I got a @TELFARGLOBAL bag and a vaccine appointment in the same day... should probably buy a lottery ticket now right?
blah blah personal news: today is my last day at Refinery29 & I have never been more in my feelings about leaving a job!!! Also I wrote a whole long thing about it & THEN learned the maximum IG caption length is 2200 chars. anyone who's edited me knows that is simply not enough!
It's been a really weird fucking year and part of me still doesn't believe this is real. But it is... so, more to come very soon on what's next for me (that's what I'm supposed to say here, right?), but it's very different, and I'm very excited!
I know we have two holidays and countless potential crises to get through before then, but...does anyone wanna talk to me about how they plan to spend NYE this year for a @Refinery29 story? I feel like the end of this year deserves celebration, but obv not in the traditional way
we truly love to see it
