The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, has received Madam Doris Adu Gyamfi, mother of 15-year-old Ghanaian Javits Badu Nkansah Frimpong, who was fatally shot in the Bronx, New York, in the United States. The minister conveyed government’s condolences to the family and assured her of its support, adding that Ghana’s diplomatic mission in the US would engage relevant authorities to ensure the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death receive the necessary attention.
