#gokingsgo. They call me Lucky Luc because I'm an idiot but they keep extending my contract. I've made over $100M burning this franchise into the ground. 🥂

Insularity. Mediocrity. Propaganda. Fan gouging. Fan gaslighting. Nepotism. Old boys network. French Connection. Incompetence. No accountability. No integrity. No passion. No vision. No excellence.
Guilty on all counts.
LA Kings schedule is so messed up.
It's always messed up but this season feels especially bad. I asked Gemini to explain why it feels so chaotically scheduled and got a two page analysis of how it's so badly planned by the NHL. Absolutely no rhythm to it at all.
It's not gonna happen but if this game goes to OT or if LA loses the way Montreal lost the other night to Winnipeg ....
Yeah my mind is already going there.
It's been so long since fans in Crypto witnessed a hat trick by their player that no one remembers to throw their hats onto the ice for awhile lmao
Nice to finally see us blowing out the other team!
On that Haula goal everyone is where they need to be. Armia goes right to the net. The off winger is at the wall (Connors). And the center goes to the slot (Haula) while the Dmen hold the zone. And Connors does exactly what he needs to do instead of trying to do fancy stuff.
Byfield just missed a wide open net the size of the Pacific Ocean but Haula to the rescue and scores a pretty backhander a shift later.
Guys and gals ... Byfield cannot finish.
Sharks won't score 1 goal the entire game so this will be a fun game rest of the way. LA needs more goals to protect this lead. Lol. I can't believe I just said that but it's true.
No less than 3 bodies between himself and Kuemper but Celebrini dragged the puck so quickly that he just created a wide open lane through which he threaded a shot right into an open net. Kuemper couldn't anticipate it. He saw through the bodies but Celebrini moved so quickly.
Armia is fascinating. He's so good up close with snapshots especially on short handed chances but if he's more than 5 feet from the net his shot misses by 15+ feet. Truly bizarre.
The only thing we miss with Ceci being scratched is him and Nurse hugging each other before puck drop.
That's literally it.
Ryan Reeves is solid in this first intermission. The other guys are horsing around less and actually breaking down the period. Very impressed with Reeves. Reeves is a big craft brewer. He's a descendant of one of the first ever US Marshal. Dual US and Canadian citizen.
I wish we could get this type of play every game. Just a pleasure to watch. It's very hard to beat yourself when playing like this. They're so compact that it forces San Jose to make more cross ice passes but all 5 Kings players drift together in that direction and close lanes.
Yup. LA is just playing a compact game w/o the usual ad hoc nonsense. All 5 guys are moving together in own zone. No one is standing. All 5 are in motion w/o big spacing or holes. And they're playing off set plays in o-zone. 8 like this version of LA. Stay committed!
And of course QB scores! Attaboy! That's where he needs to pin himself. He had to go retrieve the puck near the blue line but quickly returned to the bumper and setup. Should give him some confidence.
LA is just better with Gustafsson. None of their overpaid traffic cone Dmen would even attempt that pass to Kempe for fear of it being picked off as the puck travels through two passing lanes. Gustafsson knows why he's out there - to generate chances.
Four colors is one too many colors.
Would've been cool to see something very different like just using purple and white with a thin touch of yellow or black.
I'm no designer but neither is whoever came up with this crap.
How we liking these Hometown Remix threads, @LAKings fans? 💜
