June is #Pride Month in the United States, and as we do every month, we uplift our queer family and neighbors in celebration.
This year, in the midst of political efforts to make life more dangerous for queer people, we recommit to our responsibility to work for the full inclusion and freedom of queer folks in our communities, our nation, and our world.
To all of LGBTQIA+ folks, we recognize your holiness and your beauty, and we stand in gratitude to the ways you show us the expansiveness of creation and God in the ways you exist in authenticity and courage. Happy #Pride2021!
Tomorrow morning, we’ll have the immense honor of hearing from Mihee Kim-Kort! Her work in Asian American feminism, identity, and the healing of the Church have been deeply moving and impactful, and we are so excited to receive a piece of that in service.

Today we see accountability applied in a rare occurrence, but tomorrow and every day we still pursue a true justice in which our Black neighbors are never murdered to need accountability. We lift up the Floyd family and all who have experienced police violence. #BlackLivesMatter
Today, we honor #TransDayOfVisibility. In a moment of national aggression against trans people and youth, in the midst of hatred and violence codified into law, we proclaim the holiness of trans lives.
Intransitive (intransitive.org/donate) operates as a virtual mutual aid for transgender people. They distribute funds to trans people in emergency situations, largely to Black and Brown trans women facing eviction, homelessness, food insecurity, and/or domestic violence.
