Two in the feature as we take three Coonabarabran for Cup Day today 🙌🏆 🔹TAIPAN LEGEND👇 〰️ 1600m Showcase Cup -R7- 〰️ The 6YO returns to his preferred mile third-up, boasting five wins and two 2nds from nine attempts. @NickHeywood8 reunites from gate 4 with the opportunity to roll along and make it a front-running test. 🔹ALABAMA BLITZ The 5YO steps up in trip after a strong-finishing Scone 2nd on her stable debut. Grant Buckley rides at 55kg from gate 10, looking for cover off a solid tempo and the chance to build late.

🔹MARVEL MAN 〰️ 1200m Showcase CL2 -R8- 〰️ An honest first-up Dubbo 4th gives the 5YO a sound platform for his second start with the yard. The extra 100m and gate 2 give Nick Heywood options to settle near the speed and build on that effort. ✨ Good luck to all our owners and the team.

A provincial assignment for our sole runner 🔹TAIPAN LEGEND🔹@newcastleraces_ today. 〰️ 1350m Jungle Juice Cup 🌴🏆 -R7- 〰️ The flashy 6YO steps up in trip second-up after an eye-catching Tamworth return, finishing just a head from the winner despite traffic interrupting his run home over 1200m. Fitter for that outing, he draws gate 1 under Lee Magorrian with the opportunity to sit closer to the action and find a freer rhythm. ✨

🔹MAGIC STORM turns her trial promise into a debut win! 🏇🪄⛈️ Imposing in size, the lovely 3YO daughter of Cool Aza Beel has made good progress since joining the yard at Scone and took a great step forward in the 1000m Maiden @_TJC Still learning and racing greenly, she got the job done from the widest draw, with plenty more to see as she gains experience. ✅

🔹HALO PHENOMENA 1200m Country Boosted CL3 -R7- The 5YO resumes after eight months at a track where he’s won twice from three starts, including over this trip. A recent trial winner, he returns in fine fettle with Aaron Bullock assisting from the wide draw.

🔹JAGERSCHNITZEL 1400m BM58 -R8- The 5YO steps up in trip after strong-finishing 3rds at Mudgee and Dubbo, beaten 0.8L latest. The extra ground looks a positive, with Aaron Bullock back aboard from gate 8 and a smooth beginning the aim.

An interstate assignment for stable flagbearer 🔹DUROVA🔹 at Eagle Farm this Saturday. 🛣️ 〰️ 1000m Open Hcp -R9- 〰️ The 5YO mare has compiled an excellent record of 8 wins from 16 starts, including 5 from 8 over 1000m, and tackles today off a two-month freshen-up. Her latest prep featured victory in the Sir James Kirby Quality at Grafton before another Saturday-grade test at Randwick, and she now returns to Eagle Farm where she raced twice early in her career. Ryan Houston rides from a low draw with just 52kg.

One for the stable at @_TJC today with 🔹TAIPAN LEGEND🔹 returning at a track where he has done some of his best racing. ✨ 〰️ 1200m BM82 Spring Cup -R6- 〰️ The 6YO resumes from a four-and-a-half month break with a strong Tamworth record of 3 wins, 2 seconds and a third from 7 starts. A recent Scone trial has brought him forward and, while 1200m is short of his best trip, he has raced well fresh over this course and distance before.

One runner at @sconeraceclub today with 🔹ALABAMA BLITZ🔹 taking her first start for the team. ✨ 〰️ 1400m BM74 -R7- 〰️ The 5YO mare comes across after racing in provincial company and returns from a 55-day freshen-up. Her best results have come over further, but today’s 1400m gives us a useful first look at her under race conditions for the stable. Mitchell Bell rides from barrier 7 at 57kg.
