Now feels like a pretty suitable moment to speak from the heart. This season started off exactly how I had hoped but it very quickly unravelled with tough luck and poor performances. It’s been the first proper season of my career where I’ve had more bad days than good.

Charles can be an asshole on the track but he has never, and will never, resort to being patronising towards his teammate in the media. I don’t care what happened on track, but weaponising the media - who we all know love to spin narratives - is just a cowards move.
