Now Americans are watching recall after recall: E. coli. Listeria. Cyclospora. Eggs. Berries. Lettuce. Herbs. Meat.
The warnings weren’t hysteria. They were written in black and white.
The problem wasn’t that people overreacted.
It’s that too many people never bothered to read what was coming.
