Great news and congratulations @becgray2 on the appointment @Kidscape Bullying is such an important issue to tackle- affecting young people at the time then later in adult life too. More attention on tackling it the better.
So proud to be joining the @kidscape team.

We all know cats rule their people really. Good to know Larry is providing some continuity.
Rishi Sunak has offered his resignation to The King but Keir Starmer has yet to be appointed as Prime Minister, so who's in charge? Me.

Low turnouts = less confidence in politics and democracy. 52% in Sunderland - poor showing.

#Hexagons !!! Electoral hexagons in “really really vivid detail.” 😆

Absolutely - despite the system’s flaws it is a beautiful thing… to me at least. Interesting to see if turnout nationally is higher or lower than average as not everyone feels the same @alanjrenwick
I may be an ageing politics prof, but I still get a buzz of excitement when I put my X on the ballot paper. Being part of this huge collective endeavour through which we decide our country's direction for the coming years - however imperfect it may be - remains a special thing.

Yes, that is *quite a lot!
📊We've processed 14,467,228 from the UK public since 22 May. Which is quite a lot. 5,515,210 of these were during election week, 2 million more than in 2019. Full numbers on our blog, including a map of searches by constituency: democracyclub.org.uk/blog/20…

First result showing poor turnout at 51% for a general election. Wonder what the remaining 49% would have brought to the ballot box. #sunderland #election result. Fascinated to track turnout across this election night…

2016: Schools in areas with illegal air pollution levels: almost 500. 2024: Schools in areas with illegal air pollution levels: less than 20. Because of our policies to clean up London's dirty air, it'll soon be ZERO.
