Watching Arizona-UCLA and Gonzaga play last night just made me miss the old PAC-12 It would be so smart to bring that back The new look pac12 with Gonzaga and a bunch of those teams back like UCLA and Arizona would push to be the best basketball conference in the Country

Arizona may be in for a very long season As I expected, the magic from last season is gone. Your best player simply isn’t a real threat on offense. Great late surge but UCLA almost blew you off the floor. Kharchenkov is a certified baller and Caleb Holt will dial in. But this team has serious question marks Wouldn’t be surprised to look up and see them at 5th or lower in the big 12 (which is still really good) but we’re talking strictly from a national contender standpoint

I have some concerns with Michigan I’ll get more a of a reading when they get Moustapha Thiam in the lineup and the defense should be much improved from there. But the lack of depth is concerning They have one of the best guard trios in all of college basketball which makes me believe they’ll be a much better team in March than they will in the regular season I’m not saying they’ll lose a ton of games but missteps are almost guaranteed with this team. I think UConn exposes them on Friday Like I said, I think they’ll be a much much better team in March

I was pretty worried this season for Purdue until I watched them play last night Daniel Jacobsen is much much farther along in his development, he looked like the best player on the floor against a long and lengthy defensive Gonzaga team. Has to stay out of foul trouble He’s gonna have a good season and be set up to be one of the best players in the sport next year. If Purdue can knock down some long range shots they’ll be a threat in the big 10 all year long

Florida has been so bad at the free throw line that it’s giving the illusion that Miami is in this game

I think* we’re about to see just how next level Florida basketball is To be clear, I LOVE this Miami squad. Jai Lucas is one of the best coaches in the country and the roster is great. But Florida should be blazing and on another level here, at least early in the season
