It took many sleepless nights, failures, and lessons learned to finally build the ticker/product that you see trending on Birdeye today, the STONK.so app Just wanted to do a quick intro here ☺️ Hi I'm SolanaEngineer and have 8+ yrs experience building highly scalable software for a trillion dollar big tech company! In 2021/2022 I started experimenting with Solana and built a few dApps! It all started with Million Sandbox, where I experimented with decentralized ads with the Solana community. I then expanded the project to Million Finance, a decentralized index funds protocol. Somehow, the project won 3rd place in the Solana Riptide hackathon! I was ecstatic. I THOUGHT it was going to be a new era in web3 where I could quit my tech job and work on Solana fulltime. However, it was bad timing. FTX and all those web3 companies started failing. The recession fears came. Web3 users started dwindling. People lost hope. It was a sad winter. All the prices crashed and many web3 startups failed. It seemed that the best path for my career and family would be to continuing relying on a tech job while working on Solana ideas at night. There were numerous lessons learned from these past projects. e.g. I had focused too much on the tech and not enough on marketing. Those lessons inspired the strategy of STONKS today, a balanced approach. I'm not ashamed of failing in the past as long as I'm able to apply these learnings. Meme in the front driving growth to the tech product hidden in the back 👍 Now every hour of my day has been spent building the STONKS app fulltime. We deposited the team's LP to create $800K TVL without relying on unfair presale allocations to reduce chance of dumps. We've already implemented AI, analytics, and social features as the "Terminal of Memecoins". We'll also be focused on publishing tokenomics and working on locking the team's LP! The plan is for a fair tokenomics model so that the community can be more involved and rewarded for participating. Thanks for reading 🤝
