My current DeFi stance after the North Korean developer revelations (by; @zachxbt) : DeFi is not safe until multisigs are rebuilt with freshly generated keys. Backdoors on compromised hardware don't expire just because the dev left the team 2 years ago. Moved everything to native $SOL staking for now. Protocols that outsource dev work without proper background checks don't deserve user trust full stop. ( For example @DriftProtocol ) Worst case with native staking: validator goes rogue, maxes commission, takes your staking rewards. Your SOL stays yours. That's manageable risk vs unknown smart contract exposure. > I chosed @mert 's helius to stake helius.dev/stake You can directly native stake in there or just can use wallets to stake ( you have to type the validator name on search bar, wallets directing you to their validators which is less % )
