Vibes? Immaculate.
Food? 10/10.
Ambiance? Like stepping into a mini vacation.
Godaif Village in Lagos is that one spot that’s perfect for brunch dates or solo chills . Every corner is a vibe, and the food hits just right. Definitely one of my new faves in the city!

For everyone building a life they can barely afford to dream about right now. May your skills improve, your courage grow, your connections multiply and your opportunities expand. May the things you are learning in this difficult season become the very things that make your next season beautiful.

Yesterday, I attended to several lovely patients, but one man’s story genuinely surprised me.
He’s 45 and came in complaining of blurry vision. On examination, I noticed he had manifest exotropia ( A condition where one eye turns outwards).
Out of curiosity, I asked if it was his first time seeing an eye doctor. He told me it was only his second visit. The first was when he was just 7 years old.
Apparently, the doctor had recommended treatment to align his eyes, but he refused. His reason? He felt his eyes made him unique, and he loved them that way.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting that answer.
As eye care professionals, we sometimes focus so much on what we think needs correcting that we forget to consider how patients feel about their own appearance.
Of course, the clinical implications of an eye condition still matter, and patients deserve to understand them. But their feelings and perspectives matter too.
It was a good reminder that not everyone sees themselves the way the rest of the world sees them.
Sometimes, what we think needs fixing is something another person has learned to love about themselves.

It’s another beautiful morning. Another beautiful morning to keep trying until you get it,another beautiful morning to fail until you succeed. While at it,do not loose yourself. Listen to your body at all time. Don’t ignore any signs your body gives you.
Prioritize your health.

Let’s be honest. If your crush asked to see you right now, how quickly would you start getting ready?

This morning weather feels like Christmas. The air,the frosty weather, all feel like Christmas.
How’s the morning weather at your end?
Love, to me, is patient and kind. It is intentional, gentle, selfless, and honest. It is choosing each other daily, showing up even when it is inconvenient, and making each other feel safe, seen, and cherished. It does not envy, boast, or keep a record of wrongs.
