They are in totally different and very unrelated fields but you can tell they genuinely learnt about it regardless. This is the style that'll have you bouncing your head every Sunday morning 💕
that TikTok/reel of the Cambridge PhD couple talking about one another’s thesis is the most romantic thing I’ve seen in a while. I’ve watched it an embarrassing amount of times. 🙈

For those who think a video or audio recording is evidence of student learning you may want to think again.

I just reread Shore Principal John Collier's newsletter. It's true he was genuinely wrestling with what seemed inexplicable. The police told him it couldn't have been predicted or prevented - why? DV experts would strongly disagree. Murder can not be seen as "out of character".

Great discussion during today’s learner panel on module vs programme learning outcomes and how a focus on the former can actually lead to academic misconduct (‘self-plagiarism’ as one example) @QQI_connect #NAIW

4.5 years evidence from thousands, and media don’t get it. Today’s photo. Reducing us to our impairments. We are disembodied, pathologised, equated to the sum $ of the NDIS. The courage, the strength the call for human rights is so much more #DisabilityRights @TheNewDailyAu

Remembering 2014 when I had to retract a media article about Rolf Harris under threat of his lawyers. Apparently the article took the allegations against him too seriously? Far more victims than was publicly reported. Another massive manipulation and betrayal of public trust.
