January 12, 2022: My roommates and I decided to drive from DC to Philly to see Hornets vs Sixers. It’s a running joke that I’ve never seen the Sixers win in person, and considering Embiid was 13-0 vs CHA, this was the chance to break that. After driving 2 hours, my ‘02 Toyota Sequoia completely broke down on I-95 during rush hour. My RMs and I pushed the car off the highway as everyone in Philly blared their horns at us. I was so upset that I called AAA, hid the keys, left the car on the exit ramp, and ubered to the arena. I was NOT missing this game. Joel Embiid is now 20-1 vs the Hornets. His only loss… January 12, 2022.

Kind of crazy that this is going to get lost in 5-10 years… What could’ve been.
