Not getting a blue check mark until Elon Musk sells Twitter to someone who isn't a morally vacuous peace of shit and Russian-cock-sucker like himself.

Latins can't fully be trusted. This is hardly news, but is worth occasionally restating.
Italy and Spain demand solidarity whenever their debt blows up. But they show no solidarity when Ukraine gets invaded and freeride on Germany and others to pay. I think they misunderstand the word solidarity. What they do is grifting. That's different... robinjbrooks.substack.com/p/…

The perpetual stench of Trump corruption.
Serbian ruler’s secret role in ‘illegal’ effort to help Trump business Defeated Serbian leader, Aleksandar Vučić, personally intervened to push plans for controversial $500m Trump Tower in Belgrade, which sparked protests and a criminal case. The criminal case is believed to be the first resulting from the Trumps’ global moneymaking campaign, described by critics as a “pay to play” arrangement where everything from sanctions relief to cutting-edge chips is available to those who enrich the first family and their associates. theguardian.com/world/2026/o…

Nobody should be surprised that someone from an actual crime family behaved in this way. Background is not everything, but usually it is.
Jared Krusher committed outrageous levels of treasonous corruption. Don’t let the story die.

Fertilizer through Hormuz has dropped to zero. No fertilizer cargoes crossing the strait in September or October. Before the war, about 20% of the world’s traded nitrogen fertilizer went through it, Fertilizer Daily reports. The Gulf also supplies about half of the world’s traded sulfur. Hear me out: urea isn’t the problem. China raised its nitrogen exports about 47% and the US about 60%. By the end of August urea was back to its January price, IFPRI data shows. Sulfur is the problem. It has more than doubled, to above $1,000 a tonne, and phosphate is up 25–30%. You need sulfur to make phosphate fertilizer. Mosaic has idled two Louisiana plants, and India’s fertilizer subsidy bill could pass 3 trillion rupees, against 1.71 trillion budgeted. Oil found other ways out of the Gulf. Sulfur hasn’t. source: World Visualized

Japan’s overtourism problem isn’t really a lack of information—it’s a lack of awareness. People can’t search for places they don’t know exist so everyone defaults to the same famous spots Alas, destinations they’d probably love never even enter the picture in the first place.

After all, Israel turned out to be totally pointless. It's just Arabs with a different label.
More than half of Israel’s Jews descend from the countries in the Middle East and North Africa. They are key to understanding the country’s future. Read more from Mijal Bitton: 🔗 on.wsj.com/4yXIEaJ
