Crockett's top strategist responsible for Black turnout in the primary offered to help Talarico's campaign and was rejected. Additionally, Talarico did not ask Congresswoman Crockett to campaign with or for him.
Caught up with Jasmine Crockett in Arlington, TX this week.
Asked if Talarico was now doing enough to attract Black voters, she said: “It is my hope.”
-She says Talarico never asked her to campaign with him. "I was just going to leave that for after the campaign.”
-Crockett expressed surprise the Talarico team had not brought on board her top strategist behind Black voter turnout in her primary, who offered them his assistance.
-Says she's OK with it all b/c it is his strategy to distance himself from big-name Democrats and instead is going after independents and Republican cross-over voters.

I've been accused of being a "Jasmine Crockett supporter." That assessment misses the point. I was a supporter of "a fair process." In a world without racist & misogynist online influencers, the primary would've gone without a hitch and there would be no residual bigotry.

Jasmine Crockett is no longer running for office, yet the hit pieces and nonstop attacks keep coming. When the same Democrats, influencers, and “journalists” keep pushing the same narratives, it stops looking like criticism and starts looking like a coordinated campaign.
