Practicing presentations in pairs in preparation for next week. Overheard one student tell another that he needs to shorten his speech by a minute and could combine some slides to lessen his time. Love hearing their suggestions!!
Thank you CHS Athletic Boosters for buying a spike machine for the volleyball team. Thanks also to all of the volunteers who worked in the concession stands to make it possible. So grateful to be part of a community who supports our students!! Roll Cougs!!

Love this line from Readicide - “These books [classics found in the canon] provide our students imaginative rehearsals for the real world, and in today’s complex world, our students need as many of these rehearsals as possible” (Gallagher 93).
One of my favorite projects of the year. Students submit their portfolios and write a business letter explaining the grade they feel they deserve and cite evidence from their own writing to prove their claim. They have great reflections!! #AHSisFAMILY
