Capitol police CAN & DO arrest protestors who breach security at the Capitol. I know, I've been there. Plenty of times. When they know we're coming, they PREPARE for us and PLAN to arrest us. They even prep their zipties in advance. Don't tell me they weren't prepared for today.

On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, here are some reminders:
•Disabled is not a bad word.
•Ableism exists.
•Disabled people have the right to autonomy.
•Non-disabled opinion/perspective has no place in the disabled narrative.
Thanks for supporting workers, @NorthBayCLC - Labor Day and beyond! And thanks for the burrito and swag this morning 😊. Stay safe, everyone.
There are @Amazon employees forced to work at delivery stations & fulfillment centers even though their job is almost entirely done on a laptop. Let them work from home. Unpaid time off isn’t enough. People need to work, but can’t bc you won’t let them work from home. – at San Rafael, CA

Who wants to play a quick game of WTF AMAZON?! The game is simple: You contact @amazon & say: WTF! Why are you allowing anyone to sell fake accessible parking permits?! This is harmful & illegal & STOP THAT SHIT.
Bonus if you pass this on.

“He made a mistake,” @SpeakerPelosi says on Trump's tweet about Yovanovitch during her testimony. “I think part of it is his own insecurity as an impostor...he knows full well he's in that office way over his head. And so he has to diminish everyone else.” cbsn.ws/32PUQek

SMART & @CAOpLifeSaver need help during CA Rail Safety Month. RT this tweet & you could receive a prize pack!
Think safety first near all tracks, trains, & at stations. Don’t be distracted by cell phones, texting & headphones, & never walk on the tracks—it’s dangerous & illegal.
Just watched the @smarttrain leave a passenger on the platform! You *really* need alert staff with radios on all three cars! She just missed the door closing, waved like crazy before we pulled away. – at Novato, CA

Like so many other grateful American immigrants, I was taught to defend and honor our country’s ideals and to never take for granted the privilege of living in our democracy.
I will keep speaking out, and I implore all Americans to do the same.
