Whilst I respect structure and order in institutions, it should be at the backdrop of all things lawful and honest. An interim provision as we wait for the legal advice, theological principles and pastoral assistance is impt when we are hearing that trust has diminished with HoB

This seems like a positive step by HTB, New Wine and others. Last time I spoke to an HTB leader they acknowledged they needed to be clearer. Praying for Anglican friends - there is still hope!

Why is the debate on sexuality in the Church such a big deal? Why can't we agree to disagree, or just get on with the business of local ministry? Here are my 10 reasons why I think it is a big deal for us all. @simonsarmiento @ceecuk @AJWTheology

Why do we need to talk about sexuality in church? How do we care for people in church who experience same-sex attraction?

I find this heartbreaking. Those who describe themselves as SSA celibate have the most to lose in a change towards affirming same-sex relationships and I don’t take that lightly. I don’t agree Ed, but I pray you are held by God through this process.
What will a compromise do for gay or same-sex attracted members of the @churchofengland?
Ed Shaw, pastor of Emmanuel City Church, Bristol expands on the effects. Do you agree?

As a celibate gay Christian who has embodied the @churchofengland’s ethic to great cost, I’m deeply disappointed with the LLF process. No pastoral provision to help gay people follow God’s teaching in a non-repressive, love-filled way. Ignored by my local bishop. #llf #cofe
