We regret that we will be unable to start the first rewarded NFL tournament on the 20th November as planned.
That's on us. We underestimated our engineering team who got it done early. So Tournaments start tomorrow instead. Hahahahah.

How to prepare for the NFL market opening on @sportfun next week? 🏈
1️⃣ Stay up to date on what will happen!
The 72 players that will be released has already been presented.
Founder packs will be revealed on 10th of November.
Dates for when the players will be unlocked for trading is already known: 24 players will be unlocked for trading on each of the dates 11th, 13th and 18th.
Stay up to date on further details in the FDF discord and on X.
2️⃣ Research player quality
Use established Fantasy Football platforms to research how the players scored this season (and what is projected for the remainder of the season). The scoring structure on FDF will probably be similar.
I primarily use Yahoo Fantasy Football for this.
3️⃣ Know how TP is rewarded and what ‘EV+’ looks like!
The TP structure (top 3/5 scores), squad maximum and other dynamics all favors one thing: ‘Cheap’ players with high variance.
That is why I will be looking for ‘cheap’ players that score high sometimes. I don’t care too much about average score.
4️⃣ Be aware of price action dynamics
In the football (⚽️) game on FDF we’ve seen the top players being overpriced in my opinion.
This makes sense, because if you don’t know a lot of players, you will probably go for the names you recognize. And the big names will probably go into top 3/5 more often than other players.
One thing you need to ask yourself though: Is it X times more likely that Mahomes goes into top 3 compared to ie. Maye, if he is priced X times higher?
The difference/ratio between top players and the rest was big to begin with, but have equaled out a bit lately. I expect the same for NFL. Top players might go to a too high price (relatively) to begin with. So be aware of the price changes and balance your squad accordingly.
