The Color Drains Out is one of the songs I'm most proud of and one of my most personal. I struggled to find a name for the album for the longest time until I realized this song was the core of the album and the feeling of loss that's throughout.

Something Wrong was one of those rare (for me) songs that came together fairly easily. The opening lines were inspired by a bible verse written on the walls of the bathroom at the beginning of Silent Hill 2.

This Friday is another Bandcamp Friday & one of the first since TCDO was released. If you haven't picked up your copy yet, that'll be a great time to do it.
Also, thank you to everyone that has checked out the album, sent messages, or left comments. I appreciate each one of you

Constant Echo was written right after the first album was released, before I knew what shape the new album would take. I think you can hear elements of After Everything in it.

Before it became "The Lie I Still Believe" it was a different song called "Hole". One advantage of taking forever on an album is that it gives me time to live with a song and decide if it says what I want it to say or am I just trying to finish it.

The lyrics and melody of "How Long Can This Go On" went through many, many revisions all the way up to release. A scrapped lyric from it inspired "The Lie I Still Believe".

Blood Money is pretty self-explanatory. I live in America where apparently there isn't anything we won't sacrifice to the altar of the gun.

"The Lie I Still Believe" went through big changes at the last minute. For years until right before it went to mixing it was called "Hole" and had an entirely different chorus.
The voice at the end is sampled from a 20 year old home movie. A reminder.

"How Long Can This Go On" is out now on bandcamp and it should be going live on all of the streaming sites any minute now. This is going to be the last single before the album, "The Color Drains Out" releases.

Already Dead hits Spotify on 4/11. Pre-save it before the r̶a̶p̶t̶u̶r̶e̶ eclipse happens this afternoon.
I know it seems pointless, but apparently it makes the algorithm happy when you do that, so if you could, give it a save. Thanks.
