Our West White Rose project reached another significant milestone this weekend with the planned flooding of the concrete gravity structure (CGS) graving dock in Argentia. (1/4)
When the water reaches the final height of 19 metres, the dock will contain 600,000 m3 of water (enough to fill 240 Olympic sized pools). To keep the CGS from floating, around 65,000 tonnes of salt water was pumped into its cells to weigh the structure down. (3/4)

The concrete gravity structure reached its final height of 145.2 m after the final concrete pour in Argentia, NL. In Ingleside, Texas, the final heavy lift was executed, installing the last crane and completing the topsides structurally. (2/3)
Next, the project team will focus on interior completion and commissioning for both structures before they are installed in the White Rose field in offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. (3/3)
