I am fully on the Andy Reid train, but kicking the extra point down 24-6 is why he may never have nice things.
I am shocked that the GM who couldn’t get the Wild out of the first round is actually bad. Shocked!

Let’s recap Chuck Fletcher’s version of go time: sign Suter and Parise to mega deals, team tops out at 2nd in their division, middling in their conference. Seems a lot like Paul Holmgren’s, come to think of it.

I think more should have been done to ensure “go time” coincided with the remaining production windows of Giroux, Voracek, and Couturier. At the same time, it’s even more painful to learn that Hextall was trying to build a perennial contender, rather than induce a sugar high.

PHI has asked for and received permission from ANA to talk to Dave Nonis about the Flyers GM job. Chuck Fletcher and Bill Zito are the other candidates, to this point.
