What a sick run! 🔥 🔥 Definitely one I won’t forget. It’s tough getting so close and not being able to finish but there are some memorable spots that I need to learn from. 😎
No one is talking about this moment from last night! I really think it led to Saas getting rattled and playing hero ball! @LukeJu22 pushed all the right buttons

I feel like I’m playing the best poker I’ve ever played. So locked in. Getting a Main Event ticket would be a dream come true. I’m using my ONE TIME Sunday! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🔥🔥
Back from break with 2bbs and look down at 2 black Aces. 90 minutes later we get a Satty ticket. Step 1 ✅
One more chance at the Main Ticket 🤞🏽
Quite the day! Played Mohegan $400 multi flight. Had 6 starting stacks when reg closed before level 7. Folded over and over again for the next 3 hours. Stack was on a roller coaster from there but ended up finding the bag. Felt locked in all day. Excited for Day 2 Sunday! 🔥🔥🔥
I can’t figure out how to slow down my thinking and make the right decision when playing live poker 🤔😞
First live tourney since bball season ended and we ship it! 1/77. I think this means @TurningStone @WSOP next weekend! 👀🔥

When I started out playing poker, I made my way up the stakes with a "bag of tricks". People didn't know how to call check-raises. They overfolded to 3bets and opens. They didn't defend capped ranges. (Crazy example of this, if someone opened ep and board came 66x, i'd call twice ip with air intending to bluffshove the river). As I moved up stakes, I started encountering people where this didn't work. How do I play if my opponent doesn't overfold to 3bets any more? Or if he knows how to call with bluffcatchers? I had no idea. I was forced to develop my theoretical/"GTO" game. I think generally poker still has these two aspects - your theoretical framework, and your bag of tricks. The theoretical framework is very easy to study these days with all the modern tools. Bag of tricks is a mystery, and many top players have completely different ones. Theory is important, but don't overlook developing some tricks, they are just as if not more important to your winrate.
