If you're not happy in this fandom anymore, you can just leave, no one's holding you back. He even literally said, "if he is no longer your happiness, you can leave, prioritize your own happiness".

Ps. To anyone who got blocked by Joong, there could be a lot of reasons, but I know he's a good guy. Maybe he blocked you so you wouldn't expect too much from him, so when your demands or expectations aren't met, you won't waste more time feeling disappointed or spreading hate all over again. But honestly, the most likely reason is just that you deserved it. Stop playing the victim by posting that you got blocked—you're just embarrassing yourselves. this is the bs they were talking about back when JD were still together.... and they called themselves fans?? saying they didn't value fan projects, complaining that there was 'not enough interaction between them' i don't even know what you wanted to see, them constantly sharing photos together?? bcs otherwise i don't get it, saying they didn't know what was happening with the couple, that they didn't know whether to stay in the fandom or not (i wish you had left back then)
and this was just ONE day, it was the day they complained about them not posting pics of the anniversary project and days later joong cried at the seoul fanmeet saying he DID value everything fans did and suddenly all of you started posting sweet messages to joong....

Joong has a backbone, unlike some people, and he isn’t going to tolerate disrespect. He doesn’t block people just for the sake of it. In fact, he rarely blocks anyone.
That little circle has been going around for months, constantly starting shit with him, twisting his words and taking jabs at him. And these are the so called “victims,” by the way, all giggling in the replies of someone who got a hit tweet out of this whole situation. They do not care how it’s affecting him because they have never cared about him at all.
Joong knows exactly who these people are, and now he’s doing what they’ve apparently wanted all along — blocking them so they no longer have to see his posts, and he doesn’t have to see theirs. They’re only making a spectacle of it now because they want to stir up even more trouble and because they never actually thought he’d go through with it.
