Have just had some tuck, almost bought some shoes, advised someone that they should definitely watch 'Detectorists' before long, and cried about the brilliance of Paul McCartney AGAIN. Typical Wednesday for me.

Halloween 3 years ago I set up the zombies of John, Paul, George and Ringo to walk across Abbey Road on my front lawn. It was glorious and people were posing with The Beatles all day. 👻👻👻👻

Love the fact that Tom Allen's back tattoo seems to feature Paul McCartney about to hand some cash, and quite possibly a lift, to a passing hitchhiker. #MaccaBack #LastOneLaughing

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work. My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

Ahh! It’s the 31st October. Nine months ago, I stuck this picture in my diary to give myself a treat as the darkest days begin…
A picture on a diary page of Paul McCartney sitting at a table with tea cups.
