This is absolutely gorgeous, 4 year old , GSD named Rex that who along with so many others there was found as a stray!
These are the lousy notes this βshelterβ has given for Rex. βenergetic, can be anxious at times, jumps on handler, walks on the leash.β I wonder why Rex could be anxious at times! He knows heβs in danger !
Apple Valley animal shelter, is over capacity right now. Adopters and fosters are desperately needed. There are 9 dogs under Kill Command there right now.
Please go and adopt or offer to foster Rex so a rescue can pull him . Fostering is free if you live in Southern California through a rescue.
Please share him. This shelter gets very little foot traffic, and the dogs there depend on us on social media to get their faces out there. Thank you ππ

πShelter Notes: At 4 years and 11 months old, this 67 lb female Great Pyrenees is a soft, fluffy girl with a calm and gentle personality. She recently met a staff member's daughter and was incredibly gentle with her, showing off just how sweet and cuddly she can be. She carries herself with quiet confidence and seems happiest exploring, sniffing around, and taking in her surroundings at her own relaxed pace.
Around other dogs, she tends to be more of a peaceful observer than an active playmate. She enjoys intermingling with the group and mostly keeps to herself, but she doesn't mind when another dog approaches and has even responded with a friendly tail wag. Overall, she appears neutral to slightly positive with other dogs and would be a lovely match for someone looking for a calm, soft-natured companion.π
