𝐎𝐑𝐂 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝟏% 𝐇𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 Blizzard's final racial pass before launch puts race identity first, which they say means some races will be slightly better than others at certain roles. Some of the generic racials they'd swapped in are getting rolled back. Orc loses Savage, the 1% crit, and gets Command back, 5% more pet damage for Hunters and Warlocks. Dwarf loses Earth Fury, the 2% crit damage and healing, for Artisan's Precision, 1% hit with spells and attacks. I think that Dwarf one is kind of a sleeper, it's 1% hit you don't have to get from gear. Ruthless, the Human crit racial, goes from 2% to 1%, and Human Spirit goes up from 5% to 10%. Tauren Endurance is now just 5% more health, and Plainsrunning builds to 60% run speed instead of 30%, but it no longer adds mounted speed. Both Skyborne active racials now depend on where you use them. Read Leyline drops to 50% health and mana regen for 15 seconds, or 100% while you're Attuned, which you get for an hour by using it at a Ley Line. Skysight does the same at elemental convergences: 15% run speed, up from 10%, or 30% while you're Charged. Wind-Blessed haste goes from 3% to 2%. Weapon spec racials are the one thing they're not bringing back. Blizzard says it isn't healthy for future raid and dungeon loot to come down to "required" weapon types, so Sword and Axe Specialization stay gone.
