In short, LB626 claims it has an exception for rape and incest, but this is fiction. In reality, LB626 offers no effective carve out for rape/incest, and exposes already traumatized women to the most horrific lifelong trauma imaginable.

Instead of focusing on what's wrong in your life, focus on what's going right. Flip the script on your negativity and embrace positivity instead, so you can attract more good things to focus on.

This day was originally about PEACE. Honoring Veterans for what they did towards PEACE. Now it is something different, glorifying blind obedience and making the atrocities of WAR not only accepted but striven for. As we #ReclaimArmisticeDay remember: WAR IS OVER if you want it.
Veterans For Peace@VFPNational11 Nov 2022
Join Veterans For Peace as we lift up the original intention of November 11th – as a day for peace. As veterans we know that a day that celebrates peace, not war, is the best way to honor the sacrifices of veterans #ReclaimArmisticeDay youtube.com/watch?v=r1h9j9nC…

It takes time, and I've been slacking on it so junk comes back, but totally worth the effort. I also use News Feed Eradicator (browser ads-on) combined with Lists for controlling what I see on FB.

Now that I know count chocula cereal was engineered to create chocolate milk, I will enjoy the cereal and add the remaining milk to my coffee without shame. Enjoy life.
It didn't start with gas chambers, but that's where it ended. Are we going to go that far again, nearly a century later? And no, "This is differernt" won't fly. Just because the targets may be diff groups, the underlying mentality is still the same. And it's not acceptable.

The tragedy of #Auschwitz shows only the painful end of a long process. It's essential to remember that it did not start from gas chambers. This hatred slowly grew from human ideas, words, prejudice, through legal exclusion, to dehumanisation, violence and murder. It's a warning.
Not so slowly in my case...

Bird photography tips.
A four panel comic titled "Bird Photography Tips". In panel 1, labeled Good Bird Photo, a Cape May Warbler stands on a branch. The caption says "excellent lighting, subject in focus, field marks clearly visible". In panel 2, labeled "Great Bird Photo," the warbler is caught mid-leap, and the caption says "peerless athleticism, levitation?, powerful". In panel 3, labeled Excellent Bird Photo, the warbler is facing the camera and is very round, and the caption says "borb, round, a good bird". In panel 3, labeled Exceptional Bird Photo, the warbler is frozen in mid-flight, its wings tight against its body so it looks like a torpedo, and the caption says "nyoooooom".
