The Trump administration is quietly killing DACA. Immigrant youth are our teachers, neighbors, farmworkers, and parents. They contribute billions to
our economy. We will not stay silent as this administration dismantles DACA. #ProtectDACA

DACA has transformed lives and communities for over a decade. Now more than ever, we must stand with immigrant youth and ensure they can continue to thrive. #ProtectDACA #HomeIsHere
Tonight, big win: 9th Circuit Court of appeals denied the federal government’s request for a stay of a temporary restraining order (TRO) prohibiting federal agencies–including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)–from continuing their unlawful actions in Los Angeles (1 of 2)
and surrounding counties. Justice prevails and we will keep fighting until all of our loved ones come back home. CHIRLA and @aclu @publiccounsel @lawcnetwork @UFWupdates @ImmDef and others fighting the good fight. (2 of 2)

No one is above the law and today's court decision reaffirms that President Trump and his broad deportation apparatus must follow the Constitution. We will continue the fight to ensure the government stops their insane, cruel, and racially-biased sweeps immediately.

When U.S. trade policies devastated communities, people migrated. Then U.S. immigration policy punished them for it.
Join us TOMORROW to hear from lawmakers, researchers, and migrant rights leaders on the truth behind U.S. trade policy.
CHIRLA carries the legacy of leaders who’ve led the immigrant justice movement for nearly 40 years. 🦋 As they try to silence us, our voices will rise louder than ever, echoing with love, resilience, and power. An attack on one is an attack on all! 🫂🧡 #WeBelongHere #SomosCHIRLA
The shoving and treatment of California Senator Alex Padilla is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous.

This four-year-old girl and her family should have never been caught in the middle of this literal life or death situation to begin with.
I am thankful to my colleagues for joining me in urging @DHSgov @Sec_Noem to reverse her decision and keep this family in the United States to receive care.
This situation is a prime example of the Trump Administration being unfit, unprepared, and unqualified to handle immigration policy decisions with empathy and compassion.
No one should have to go through what this Administration just put this family through. We can, and must, do better to take care of our most vulnerable and defenseless.
