Nah. Chicago is a Bears town first. If the Bears do the unthinkable, the city will shut down for a week. I am not even being hyperbolic. Artists will be sculpting statues in grant park. Beer taps will run dry. The whole city will be partying. I don’t think people understand how big of a celebration this would be.

Last night Caleb Williams said even during the Jordan Era, Chicago was a Bears town. He’s right. I was the Chicago Tribune columnist in 1998. The ‘85 Bears were and still are bigger for more people in Chicago than even MJ’s NBA team.
