EXCLUSIVE: I spent several years following Alex through a constellation of taxpayer funded homeless housing facilities in Seattle.
He eventually settled in the Downtown Emergency Service Center's North Star.
DESC is the poster child for "Housing First" in WA.
Politicians and far-left activists will also refer to this model as low barrier permanent supportive housing.
Alex showed me what he does all day:
-Wakes up
-Get's free drug supplies at front desk
-Takes bus to find his fentanyl dealer
-Comes back to his room in the North Star
-Smokes drugs all day
-Zero requirements to get into addiction treatment
-Zero requirements to find a job
-He rarely sees his DESC case manager
-Alex admits he has no purpose in life
-Rinse and repeat
After more than a decade of trying this failed public policy, the Trump administration is defunding "Housing First" and reallocating the money into treatment and recovery providers.
The homeless industrial complex is shook and now fear mongering, claiming more people will be forced onto the streets. That's a lie.
In response, WA Democrats have taken the bait from Homeless INC and are trying to prop up this failed model by potentially raising taxes to offset funding losses. This is a scandal. 🧵👇
NEW: Court documents show the Seattle woman accused of behaving like a cannibal lived in one of the the most crime-ridden homeless housing facilities in the city.
Yet somehow the Downtown Emergency Service Center continues to get a pass for all the bad behavior and chaos caused by its unhinged residents. How come?
In this Discovery Institute investigation, we scrutinized DESC's powerful connections to WA politics and examined how a network of power brokers in the region appear to be running cover for this controversial organization.
Seattle Parks have been conquered by drug addicts.
Socialist Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson should follow San Francisco’s lead on homelessness.
Mayor Katie Wilson in Seattle talks about changing the status quo while doing the exact same thing on homelessness which is low barrier shelter and housing where drug use is allowed. 🤦♂️ @DiscoveryCWP

NEW: Socialist Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson admits the current response to the city’s homeless drug crisis isn’t working.
But she’s doubling down on the failed Housing First approach and working with the same players in the regions’s homeless industrial complex that presided over the past decade of failure. 🧵👇🏽

HAPPENING NOW: Mega sweep is about to get underway at Seattle's Stokes Park. There are more than 30 tents set up across the lawn. Drug activity is out of control. The vast majority of people here say they will simply move down the street to another city park.
Meanwhile, socialist Mayor Katie Wilson is holding a press conference Wednesday morning to announce a new approach to solving homelessness by "re-allocating existing resources, drawing upon a nationally recognized framework used successfully in other major cities such as Denver and Houston."
In other words, Wilson is admitting the current plan is not working in her city.

Stay tuned, bro.
Any credible allegation of voter fraud should be taken seriously and investigated.
That being said, the action by Trump’s DOJ — charging just 28 individuals — suggests they have no evidence to back up their claims just last week of TENS or HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of illegally registered voters.
Yes, non-citizen voter registration and voting does happen in isolated instances — in California and the rest of the country alike — but it is so rare that the Trump admin is parading around town about .0001% of California voters.
If the feds were serious about this, they would have done this long ago — not in the middle of people voting, which inherently and needlessly sows distrust and doubt in our democracy.
Muslim dating apps in America are now being used to recruit terrorists. Wild.
The most colorful food stamp fraudster.
🚨 JUST IN: JD Vance announces Shawty Dred has been connected to SNAP FRAUD to the tune of millions of dollars
IMAGINE THAT.
"This is a man that we have connected to $4.4 million in fraud against the SNAP program. A guy who is quite literally taking food from the mouths of children so that he can enrich himself."
"The best part about Shawty Dred is that my amazing staff worried that I would be unable to pronounce Shawty Dred included a handy dandy phonetic spelling of Shawty Dred. But no, guys, I got it." 😭
He's one of 40+ people Vance's task force is going after today, in a $40 MILLION food stamp scheme
That brings the SNAP fraud the task force says it has uncovered to $641 MILLION

🚨 Here is the full 33 minutes from inside yesterdays historic White House fraud announcement: For the first time ever there is an incentive for everyday citizens to expose fraud. Prior it could take years and many attorneys to be able to claim the money exposed from fraudsters now you can receive the funds much faster.
Now you can claim 1% of the fraud that you expose. For example, if you expose $100 million you receive $1 million, if you expose $1 billion you receive $10 million. Plain and simple.
The tables have completely turned on the fraudsters, now they have nowhere to hide if someone knows they are committing fraud and wants to report them and receive cash they can now do so 💰 good luck learers 💀
For far too long fraudsters were able to use your tax dollars as an infinite piggy bank to enrich themselves as you pay for their luxurious lifestyles. Now YOU can report and stop the fraud and be rewarded.
START LOOKING. EXPOSE IT ALL.

Seattle is killing the creatives and entrepreneurs that built this city. It's do or die time. Vote wisely in November.
Seattle is about to have the highest tax rate in America, above New York City. The people who work for a living are carrying it.
Seattle Is Killing Small Business.

Oregon Journalism Project got played.
But even more troubling, the official campaign of a Somali political candidate sent fake photos to spin the narrative. And it temporarily worked!
Many journalists in Oregon are deeply sick, unethical people. I saw it myself living there. They frame victims as villains in their propaganda.
This fake news organization is so ideologically captured that it immediately believed the lies of an unnamed Somali scammer (who is still being protected) rather than those involved in independent citizen journalism.
