Its Surveillance Layer marks known readers made by 11 vendors, from Flock Safety to Motorola and Axon, plus other outdoor cameras.
The locations come from volunteers who map them on OpenStreetMap.

A far more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomena would be Superior Intelligence (SI) or, Extreme Intelligence (EI) or, Supreme Intelligence (SI). Got a lot of angry comments when I made this one back in 2022. We had $6K fines for being outside in Montreal (including in your car alone). Because, we all know the Coronavirus got super powerful at night. Instead, more people were forced to run errands closer together in shorter working periods during the day.
