Resident Evil (2026) ending thoughts: People keep saying the ending is dumb because the scientists “just needed to inject the cure into Bryan.” But by the time they finish the dose, he’s already mid-mutation—tentacles erupting, body absorbing people, pure chaos. Sticking a syringe in that and expecting a clean reverse was never a sure thing. The film never even shows the cure working on a fully transforming host. Cregger has said a “he gets cured and walks away” ending felt wrong to him. The point is realizing you’ve been watching a monster’s origin story. “It’s over. He’s not going back.” It also fits classic Resident Evil logic: Raccoon City isn’t a place where a last-minute lab fix saves the day. The outbreak is already out of control. The package arrives too late. Nothing clean survives. The ending works because the chance is there… and it still doesn’t matter. Raccoon City was meant to be the starting point of a zombie apocalypse world. 🎬🍿

Let's be honest, most of us wouldn't survive five minutes in resident evil, and Bryan is the perfect example. Bad aim, constant panic, wasting ammo, swearing at everything and making questionable decisions. People really think they'd turn into Leon Kennedy or Chris Redfield the second they step into Raccoon City. Be serious. Bryan is probably the most realistic RE protagonist we've ever had

You’re locked inside a movie theater for 24 hours. You can only watch movies starring one actor the entire time. Whose filmography are you choosing?

Mike Flanagan comments on Henry Cavill’s Warhammer 40K project in recent interview: “Henry Cavill would be furious if I divulged anything about what we’re working on. All I can say is that Warhammer is a fascinating world. The challenge, as anyone familiar with it knows, is finding a way in – it’s so big. There are 700 novels, discounting the [table top] game, the interactive elements and so much of the rest of the lore. [We found] a very cool and unexpected on-ramp into it, which I think is very exciting. I’m sworn to secrecy on all of it, but I’m having the time of my life working on it.” (Source: @DEADLINE)
