Following the medical emergency involving Denmark's player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
Thoughts are with Eriksen, he’s family and everyone who had to witness that, the worlds thoughts are with you now ❤️

VAR didn’t give the decision. VAR provides the referee with an opportunity to make a more informed decision. And it’s worked brilliantly so far this season. We should vent our frustration at the people who bring these ridiculous rules in. It’s the rule that’s the problem, not VAR
