Awful stats and terrible memes about sport. Don't take what I post too seriously.

Imagine if the talks break down now. Theres no way back from this for a manager who sits 12th in the league with the club having set expectations of promotion when they binned the womens team to focue on the means team reaching the EFL.
The amount of support offered in DMs is incredible.
Together we are making a compelling case. Lets turn this into the moment support for Womens Football galvanises and delivers something better like a phoenix from the ashes.
Here we go!
FGR Women, playing league fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham not too long ago and delivering highs with promotions and cup wins.
For the players, coaches & supporters, @FGRFC_Official , @DaleVince & @DaneVince need to allow people to help them save the womens team

Forest Green Rovers have disbanded their women’s team for the 2026-27 season so that they can “concentrate their resources” on trying to return their men’s team to the English Football League. Their women's team only lost one league match last season.

I hope that the club will heed these words and take Chris up on his offer of a meeting. If ever our fine club needed to reconsider such an ill-judged decision, this is the time!
This is a disasterous take for a club that prides itself on social justice. Its a terrible take for a family club who should pride itself on inclusivity.
@DaneVince i will happily offer my time to find a way of making @FGRFC_Women continue - up for a meeting?

Playoffs secured ✅️
@RobbieSavage8 and @FGRFC_Official finding form at the right time.
Since we turned a corner on 28 Feb our points per game would have been good enough win 5 of the last 10 NL titles. Thats the kinda form you want to take in to playoffs.
Phil was one of the good people in life. He gave a lot without ever expecting anything in return, both for FGR and FGRW.
He was always happy to stop and chat about football or anything else.
Lovely to see him recognised by FGR in this way.
FGR wishes to recognise the passing of one of our most dedicated and passionate supporters, Phil Doble, with a minute's applause in the 67th minute of tomorrow's match at home to York City.

Best start over 8 games in 10+ years including both promotion seasons ✅️
Longest unbeaten run in 1,304 days ✅️
Scoring more and conceding less per game in NL vs last season ✅️
@RobbieSavage8 x @FGRFC_Official bringing the good times back to The New Lawn.
Whatever happens this season, I can't remember football at FGR feeling this fun in a good number of years.
This guys enthusiasm and passion are infectious, and the positivity is refreshing.
Tom Huelin coming up for 10 years at FGR having worked for the following managers...
Mark Cooper
Jimmy Ball*
Rob Edwards
Ian Burchnall
Duncan Ferguson
Hannah Dingley*
David Horseman
Troy Deeney
Steve Cotterill
Robbie Savage
Fair play, Id buy his biography when he leaves.
Would love to see Jimmy Ball get promotion with AFC Totton.
Did a great job as caretaker at FGR and laid the foundation at the end of that season for us to build our promotion to L1.
Doing a good job at Totton and hope they can get a result today.

There's not a lot of FGR content out there these days, so it's great to see someone starting to create more.

Football should be about community and accessible to all.
It's a sad trend this and I'm sad reading this but it's just one example.
For all of the TV money, fans have not benefited.
Government need to introduce caps on ticket prices. Clubs can't be trusted.
Sad day today, decided not to renew #wolves season ticket for me and my son. We simply cannot as a single dad whose son lives with him afford such a price hike. Gutted as since he was 3 it’s been our thing, it was always the thing me and my dad did.
Said so many times we should have appointed Scott. A wonderful football mind and nice guy. Delighted for him and @SteveHaleGK reaching L1.
