President: What I do now, I do for the sake of the people of Earth. But there is one man on this planet who will NEVER kneel before you.
General Zod: Who is this imbecile? Where is he?
President: I wish I knew.

Watching a Rick Beato video, and he makes the really good point that now that we’ve stopped having a shared culture where everyone is familiar with the same songs, there’s no rebellion against that shared culture either.
How can you rebel against the Spotify algorithm?

JOYCE CAROL OATES: watching the famous "turkey" scene from Mr bean-- I had remembered it as raucous slapstick & am surprised that this time Bean appears simply as tragic-- one hasthe sense that he suffers an eternity of darkness in the 5 minutes the turkey is stuck on his head

What an extraordinary night for democracy!
In Brazil, Lula has defeated the far right in a dramatic electoral comeback.
In Serbia, a student-led movement has toppled Vučić’s authoritarian government after nearly two years of protests.
Two countries, thousands of miles apart, have delivered enormous blows to the nationalist right.
A powerful reminder of what ordinary people can achieve when they organise and refuse to give up.
Next up, it’s America’s turn.

LOL.
New: Sources from three countries confirm that the Trump Administration has advocated Viktor Orbán for UN Secretary-General.
The US has encouraged Orbán to enter the race, even bringing him the initial idea of a joint U.S.-Russia-China candidacy.

Extraordinary - a terrible night for Russia and a great night for the UK and Europe
Another yobbo leader, this time the Serbian incumbent, has been beaten and has conceded
Like Orban he may have considered using thugs to remain, but finally chose not to
BREAKING: Serbia's strongman Aleksandar Vučić CONCEDES defeat after 14 years in power, as a student-led anti-corruption movement wins Sunday's election
> Ipsos/CeSID projection: Student List 52.1%, Vučić's list 39.3%, about 138 of 250 seats (126 needed for a majority)
> The movement grew out of two years of protests after the Novi Sad station canopy collapse killed 16
> Vučić, endorsed by Putin, had called the students a foreign-backed plot
Flares and celebrations in Belgrade tonight.
Fourteen years, ended at the ballot box.

This is impressive from Piers Morgan.
Piers Morgan: “Are you joking or do you actually think that [Hitler] was very f—king cool?”
Nick Fuentes: “He was cool... The thing with my generation is that we’re done with the pearl clutching.”
Piers Morgan: “And what do you mean by Hitler is very f—king cool. Cause I think he is very f—king a monster.”
Nick Fuentes: “And that’s a clip… Do you hear yourself. Can we call grow?”
Piers Morgan: “He murdered 12M people. What is very f—king cool about that?”
Piers did a great job!

I visited Wurster Hall at UC Berkeley today. It was designed by, and currently houses, the architecture faculty.
The UC Berkeley website notes that "Wurster is often voted Berkeley's ugliest building."
I visited because I was curious about whether it would in person seem as unattractive as it does in photos. And, in short: it does. It's gaunt, austere, and filmed in grime. On an elysian campus, it stands out for its bleak hostility. It reminds me of the German submarine base in Bordeaux.
The UC Berkeley page agrees that it was never designed to be attractive, quoting the curator of their design archives: “Wurster and his handpicked architects didn’t want anything romantic, or sentimental — they hated the idea of ‘making pretty buildings. They wanted a serious building.”
I guess we have to concede success relative to their stated goals, but it does make one wonder what it all says about architecture as a discipline.
It’s sadly ironic that Lennon’s greatest fear was growing old, because, as he says, who would want to hear an 80 year old Beatle?
You seem nice.

Zionists like yourself use antisemitism as a cover and other Jews as human shields for your genocidal racism, then you come bleating when Jews feel the kickback. The scam is over.
I’ve never actually seen a whole Nathan Fielder episode. It’s hard to stay up to date with everything, and I don’t actually subscribe to 14 different streaming services.

"Richard Dawkins speaks without abiding by Liberal code for the first time ever"
Richard Dawkins speaks without abiding by Liberal code for the first time ever and multiple "centrist" and "moderate" and "Liberal" voices jump out to castigate Richard for using such mean language... to stave back an ideology that quite literally used forced language and Hatecraft behind it to dominate all of society against our will. A radical and fringe ideology that remains the heart of the "party of median Democrats" today. AOC at a podium yesterday. Likely to be the 2028 DNC Presidential candidate.
But Richard needs to watch how be speaks. Richard Dawkins does! The man who called this very ideology going OUT of office "anti-science". My goodness. 😵💫🌊
Jesse, you should stick to writing about medical associations.
Just talked to the movie megastar who lives near me. (Peaky Blinders, Oppenheimer, you know the guy.)
I asked him if I could give his dog a treat too. He said yes.
