Walnut is my new favourite home robot
A tiny quadruped with sub 100$ BOM. It has all the compute it needs for a natural gait, high quality voice control, and to feel the world around it.
@victoroldensand and I built this little guy in three weeks to introduce a new type of social robot, one that doesn’t talk too much, and can explore and interact with the world on its own.

Humanoids are coming to LeRobot! 🤖
Learn what you can do with the @UnitreeRobotics G1 in LeRobot, how to use @NVIDIARobotics SONIC, and which open-source humanoid hardware we currently support!

Kudos to @eidon_ai for open sourcing their hardware! We decided to support their finger tracker in LeRobot! github.com/huggingface/lerob…
See it in action:

And build your own! Find BOM (<30$), URDF & assembly guide here:

After 2+ years in the robotics data space, we are shutting @Eidon_AI down.
The thesis was right. But the business is brutally hard.
We close this chapter by open-sourcing everything we built and sharing lessons for anyone venturing into the space.

Today, we are open-sourcing the Innate OS, the intuitive agentic OS for general-purpose robots
🎮 Try it today in our simulator and make the smartest robot
⬇️ Here is a demo with two robots collaborating
We are entering the physical agents era, but building for mobile robots is still reserved for PhDs. We designed the Innate OS for intuitiveness, so that everyone can start automating their lives.
Innate OS runs on our <$1k open-source robot or on your computer. It takes just a minute to build your first agent in our simulator.

Working on this with the team has been an absolute pleasure!
Prime Agent combines RLM-native tool calling, programmable context, and multi-agent orchestration to create a general-purpose coding harness that can improve itself. It also happens to score 95.5% on ARC-AGI-3.

After 2 weeks, I finally got visual sim2real to work on the so-frame reliably.
In this article I show you:
- How I designed the simulation space and task
- How I calibrate and account for sim to real mismatch
- How I moved from a CNN encoder to a pretrained ViT and its significant performance boost
- How self attention beats global mean in using ViT patch tokens
- How I deploy my model with @livekit’s portal

Bracket Bot is scaling to 100 robots/week by EOY, more than any other of the new era robotics companies
Everyones building "the software layer for robotics". We're building that too, its not hard.
We're becoming experts in assembly lines, automated manufacturing, QA, and more.
As someone whos done ME, FW, ML, SWE across the board, scaling the production of a robot is the hardest thing I've done by far. Its really obvious that this will be the valuable knowledge and asset of the future.
Sharing more soon.

you don’t need a robot to see physical ai in action, you just need a browser.
this week I finally tried something I've wanted to do for a while: design an SO-101 scene in three.js, connect it to a real leader arm, collect teleoperation data, train an ACT model, then port it to run in the browser.
the result is the first ever demo of ACT that runs locally on the web.
try it yourself now at lerobot.binhph.am

Massive congrats to @DavidSHolz and the @midjourney team
It’s amazing to see someone take their AI winnings and put it into hardware that can save lives
This is inspiring work, and I hope to see more of it from the AI community
Genesis has been dropping bombshell after bombshell. It's almost hard to believe

We need more of this, but with less parts. I am working towards (might not have enough time) a super simple to build robot + a training loop that will deploy right onto it with a transfer. Just one repo and script

You can genuinely make something that feels alive with off the shelf hardware. Walnut runs multiple RL policies (PPO) on a 3 dollar Xiao board, and has a Pi Zero 2W that runs the brain and peripherals (screen, mic, speaker, camera).
