I’ve known Pierre a long time…..and this is who he is.
He understands what regular Canadians are facing because “his people” are normal people… him parents, his family, his friends are Canadian facing the stress and challenges most Canadians face.
He fights for normal Canadians because those are the people he knows, understands and loves.

Congratulations to @LDoerkson and the @Conservative_BC on a strong majority mandate to bring common sense Conservative principles to British Columbia.
I look forward to working together to save Canadians money and jobs, lock up criminals, reduce immigration, and put Canada first.
Wow!
The Liberals don’t like when the voices of regular Canadians are brought to parliament.
Conservatives will never quit fighting for millions of Canadians who are struggling under these Liberals.
Keep up the good work Carol!

‘Something to worry about’: Parliamentary budget officer concerned about Carney government’s debt levels ahead of budget ctvnews.ca/politics/article/…
🤔…….what’s been the Liberal plan up until now?!?
The goal now is to get the lowest tariff rates possible on the widest possible range of goods, Janice Charette said. thestar.com/politics/federal…

Carney really doesn’t like being called out on his BS.
He knew what he was doing when he discussed plans to repel an American invasion with the New York Times.
Then a Canadian reporter asks him about that just after Carney spoke to Trump and he gets snippy again.
With a woman.
Carney in Turkey, snippy when a Canadian reporter brings up his own NYT comments:
Reporter: A month ago you told the NYT you were preparing for the possibility of a U.S. invasion. You just spoke with the President — did that come up?
Carney: The New York Times has the transcript. That is not what I said. Quote the transcript, don’t change things
Then he pivots to “we will never be the 51st state… we’re preparing… strong and getting stronger.”
Carney said the “extreme tail risk / irresponsible not to look at it” thing to the Times. He just doesn’t like when Canadian media is asking him about it @MarkJCarney @AbigailBimman

The safety, security and recovery of the heroes injured at CFB Wainwright are our top priority.
We are grateful to Alberta’s medical teams caring for them, and to the medical professionals who have come from Saskatchewan, Ontario and elsewhere to work alongside them.
I sincerely thank U.S. Ambassador Pete Hoekstra for reaching out to me as Wainwright’s MP with an offer of medical assistance. We deeply appreciate this gesture of support for our injured soldiers and their families at such a difficult time.
We have informed the Minister of National Defence and the Government of Alberta of the offer so they can determine whether these additional resources and expertise are needed.
Our prayers remain with our heroes and their families.
Our prayers remain with all affected by the tragedy at @CanadianForces Base Wainwright. To support the recovery of soldiers affected by traumatic burns, the U.S. government has made a formal offer of assistance and resources to the Government of Canada, should it be deemed necessary.

Prime Minister, beyond the Iranian regime lies the strategic challenge of Erdoğan’s Türkiye.
From Beijing to Doha, and now Ankara, your “strategic partnerships” read like corporate-Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who turned to Castro and Mao, a search for some middle path between the West and the Kremlin.
It was a costly mistake then. It remains one now.
Lots of talk…no results.
Carney’s view of standing up for Canada appears to be making speeches and taking international trips, not fixing our own domestic policies that hurt us.

A nearly half-billion-dollar mess in the Liberal government’s dental program, with taxpayers left footing the bill.
For the second time in just one year, the Liberal government has approved substantial debt forgiveness arising from eligibility problems in the program.
Last year: up to $29 million. This year: up to $435 million.
There may be legitimate reasons not to pursue repayment. Recovering the funds could cost more than it collects. Some low-income recipients may have made honest mistakes and demanding repayment could cause undue financial hardship. But we don’t know.
None of this excuses repeated failures in program administration, or absolves the government of accountability.
Why weren’t adequate safeguards in place from the beginning? Why are we still dealing with serious eligibility problems a year after the first remission order? And how much has this actually cost taxpayers?
Canadians deserve answers.

Miss a payment to the CRA and the Liberals want every cent.
But when $34 million went to ineligible, Liberal-connected insiders through their green slush fund, Minister Joly said recovering it wasn’t “in the public interest.”
I put forward a motion on behalf of Conservatives to recover the $34 million. The Liberals blocked it.
Whose interests are the Liberals protecting?

I don't understand why we wouldn't collect on half a billion dollars.
Minister @MarjoriePLC writes off nearly half billion for people who cheated @GovCanHealth dental plan.
Feds to date won't explain why program went 80% over budget: 'It represents an amount up to $434.8 million."

Alarmingly, the PBO reports interest is the fastest-growing expense. That’s largely because the debt is growing at twice the rate of deficits - because off-budget accounting.
Interest costs are projected to eat up $83.0 billion by 2030‑31, 13.6¢ of every tax dollar.

Since 2015, the Liberals have spent more than every other government in Canadian history COMBINED.
What's really scary is that all that borrowing was done at extremely low interest rates, and now those bonds are rolling over into new, and more expensive, debt.
That's not stopping Mark Carney. He's spending more, and faster, than at any time outside of World War II and COVID.
The combination of massive deficits and a large national debt, with ever-increasing costs to service that debt, is a genuine threat to the economic future of this country.
We've seen this all before too. Guess who pays when the bill comes due? You.

The Liberals talk about Buy Canadian, but awarded a nearly $12 million CRA contract to an American-owned company instead of the Commissionaires, Canada’s largest employer of veterans.
The reported price difference? Less than 1%.
Canadian jobs and veterans should count for something.

Unlike Trudeau, Carney knows how to game the system enough to hide "the true scale of debt" according to the Parliamentary Budget Officer. Loans are being booked as assets, not expenses, keeping them off the deficit while debt climbs to $1.67 trillion by 2030-31. Interest on the debt will rise to $83 B in 2030-31. #cdnpoli
