Hyperliquid’s HIP-4 markets are doing "only" 1% of Polymarkets daily volume. This is a one-way to look at it
The other side: Hyperliquid’s HIP-4 markets are already doing 10-15% of Polymarket's daily volumes from one year ago; at that time, Polymarket was already 5 years old, while HIP-4 went live only a few months ago. Give it a year or two, and those metrics will look very different

$HYPE is deflationary and has natural daily inflow that bids everyday due to its design and on weekdays u got the tradfi bros who get to come and play as well
if u haven't noticed, they are gobbling up hyperliquid at an incredible pace for a new ETF and ppl are still figuring shit out
the circle deal yield hasn't even kicked in yet
even more passive buying 24/7 once that kicks in and HIP-4 is starting to heat up along with priority fees which is also growing steady
it's honestly one of the stupidest, easiest trades of crypto I've seen in the past decade and it's only not obvious cuz it is a bear market and everyone is broke and cautious with w/e dry powder they have left

HIP-4 update. This one is big.
Hyperliquid just removed the need for external oracles on prediction markets. The validator set itself is now the oracle.
The same 24 validators that sign blocks every 70ms, secure $3B+ in deposits, and vote bridge withdrawals now deploy and settle prediction markets natively. Automated newsfeed software running as part of regular chain operations. Deployment and resolution through onchain validator vote.
No Chainlink. No Pyth. No UMA. No third party. Closed circuit.
Polymarket uses UMA. Kalshi is centralized. Hyperliquid just made real-world event resolution a native chain function.

I genuinely think that people comparing $HYPE to Binance are not thinking big enough (by a lot)
“Housing all of Finance” is orders of magnitude larger than the largest crypto exchange TAM and Hyperliquid is in a unique position to achieve this
The road will be volatile but truly seems to be a once in a generation opportunity- especially for those who have been supporters for the last 12 to 18 months (or more)

Hyperliquid is the third biggest exchange now based on total aggregate open interest of all coins.
Binance: $22.2B OI
Bybit: $10.5B OI
Hyperliquid: $8.5B OI
OKX: $6B OI
HL now has a total OI market share of about 7.2% which is the previous all time high.
Crazy stats.

Currently deep in the full history of Hyperliquid order book data, reconstructing Implementation Shortfall costs (the true cost of trading — the gap between the price you decided to execute at and the price you actually got, capturing every basis point lost to spread, market impact, and delay) — and the early findings are genuinely striking

The total supply of solana:EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v on Hyperliquid has reached a new all-time high at 6,446,022,856.
With AQAv2 in place, this would generate approximately $214M per year for hyperliquid:native buybacks.
The realistic float for $HYPE is ~200m tokens
At a pace of $15m/trading day inflows and current $58 price, that will retire around 5-5.5m HYPE/month. The Assistance Fund gets a further 1-1.5m a month
So two tiny ETF issuers and the protocol itself would retire ~3-3.5%/month
