Great analogies and stories as usual from @dhh
A must-listen for programmers.
It's pencils down, people. Writing code by hand is no longer an economically viable skill for most programmers at most companies. But the future of making software has never been brighter. Don't you dare black pill this beautiful moment! youtu.be/vDjW_dRyKXY?si=6Fsf…
Today we’re releasing the Wego CLI with an accompanying skill for your AI agents.
For me, planning a vacation used to mean opening 12 browser tabs and managing a spreadsheet, over multiple weekends.
Now I ask my agents to:
1. Remember I hate red-eyes at the start of a family vacation.
2. Search across multiple dates.
3. Show me the cost of time: how much a stopover saves me vs how much time it costs.
4. Show what flexibility costs: refundable flights and hotel rooms.
Then turn the results into something I can understand quickly. My go-to is an HTML artifact with data visualizations, so I can see the trade-offs at a glance. A few examples below.
Wego CLI is in Research Preview: docs.wego.com
Excited to see what you do with this! Do share what you build and tag @wego

ALT Flight fare comparison for three travellers, 21–28 December. The chart highlights why checking cancellation fees matters even when a fare is labelled refundable.

ALT Abu Dhabi hotel shortlist comparing family-review scores with overall guest ratings. Al Wathba scores 9.5 from families and costs AED 1,757 per night. Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers scores 9.4 and costs AED 1,171. Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental scores 9.4 and costs AED 2,646. All three list free cancellation.

It genuinely feels to me like GPT-5.2 and Opus 4.5 in November represent an inflection point - one of those moments where the models get incrementally better in a way that tips across an invisible capability line where suddenly a whole bunch of much harder coding problems open up
Gamma is such a smart combination of ideas: block-based editing (a la Notion) + remove the part where you wrestle with the design
Excited to introduce: Gamma 3.0
A generational leap for the world's most popular AI presentation tool.
Two major changes:
1. Gamma Agent - with one prompt, you can make sweeping edits across the presentation.
a. Say 'make it more visual' and it will scan each slide for data that could be visualized better.
b. Upload a screenshot of rough notes you want to turn into a slide and it will synthesize the info, search the web to fill gaps, and make a table for you to match your brand or theme.
2. Gamma API
Say you have a sales deck you want to reuse as a template. You could build a Zapier workflow to convert all of your meeting transcripts into personalized decks, automatically sent after every customer meeting.
Bonus:
We’re also launching Team & Business plans, bringing visual storytelling to organizations of all sizes, and a new Ultra plan for our power users looking to push the boundaries even further.
PowerPoint has over a billion users, but the vast majority struggle to use it effectively. Why is that?
Because making PPTs is still slow and tedious.
We want Gamma to feel different.
Our goal is to both lower the floor and raise the ceiling, so that anyone can get their ideas out there.
Can’t wait to see what you make with 3.0.
Coming full circle from bash → zsh → fish → bash after using fish shell for the longest time. Decided to optimize for maximum compat for using Claude Code anywhere.

1/ Today Coinbase received a Wells notice from the SEC focused on staking and asset listings. A Wells notice typically precedes an enforcement action.
Feels good to be back from (incorrectly) suspended Twitter account limbo. I’d given up hope of ever recovering my data until @ajhodls offered help (omg so thankful)
It’s good to have you back! And I can finally try out the random coffee beans I bought from Bangalore airport.
(Coffee grinder broke, couldn’t have my daily fix at home for a month)
Lost so many trains of thought because Safari (desktop) decided to replace my current tabs with an outdated source of truth. Like, I’d open a new tab and Safari would just close it (I assume because it is “restoring my tabs”).
Am I doing something wrong?

nfts are a scam. i prefer to pay artists REAL money.
🔹 $0.000478 cents to my favorite musician for my spotify listen
🔹$20 for a photography print on a website that gets 7 hits a day
🔹1 instagram follow to a digital artist whose work i absolutely love
