This is an ignorant and uneducated take, FULL STOP, period end of sentence. There is a lot to kinda comb through and unpack within the 20 mins of this part of the vod, if this young man is not 17 years old or younger. There is no excuse and it’s very telling to the mindset that is had. You say ignorant uneducated shit, people WILL have a problem with it, ESP if you sit there STARTED the convo to begin with? I understand that this young man seems to be just that… uneducated bc regardless of anything, ya race, how you identify etc you WILL have hindrances and obstacles in your way as a minority that is a FACT. From what Ciel said in his stream when they tried having a conversation, being a white queer and black queer don’t experience the same suppression.(this is one part of the full convo) Are they both suppressed and have obstacles in their way that they have to persevere through bc they are queer? ABSOLUTELY 11111000000% x100 However there is a bit more suppression and hindrance to the black queer bc they are black AND queer. And if you are an ally you would know this, FACT. To sit there and say these things it was evident they were young, inexperienced and lacking an environment that doesn’t just stick their head in the sand. It’s one thing to have a rule where you don’t talk about politics, race issues or super serious topics and that’s fine, but when you yourself start up that conversation breaking your own rule … isnt it a little backwards, no? At the end of the day this take is incorrect and wrong, I will not be going back and forth with people about it cause if I hear someone say stuff like this IRL I’d look at them crazy Cause wdym if a trans person created the wheel we all would be using it?? UMM are we living in the same world?? 😩 ik /I/ would be using it esp if it’s good but it would not be the standard bc transphobic bastards, racist bastards just hateful people in general would come and try to discredit and fuck that shit ON PURPOSE I understand the underlying message (?) of regardless you gotta persevere and grind and put in that hard work, but it just felt like it was going back 2, 3 steps lol
