India’s high use of flexible packaging makes circularity in this segment an important part of reducing plastic waste and recovering more material value. In his article, “Advancing the circular economy for flexible plastics”, Jonathan Moore, Specialist - Packaging, WRAP, looks at the challenges of recycling flexible packaging in India and the need to accelerate the shift towards recyclable mono-material formats. He also highlights the role of collaboration across brands, converters and recyclers through the India Plastics Pact. On how market demonstration can help speed up adoption, he writes, “By demonstrating to the market that new recyclable formats across a variety of packaged products can be placed on the market we can derisk the development for other businesses, thereby accelerating the move to the circular economy.” Scan the QR code or read the full article here: sustainabledevelopment.in/wp… #GSS2026 #CircularEconomy #PlasticPackaging #Recycling #SustainablePackaging
