not once in my 15+ years of reading fanfiction have i ever sorted by hits/kudos/bookmarks. i don’t trust other people’s opinions on what’s good or not because a lot of terrible fics blow up in fandoms with teen audiences. i sort my shit by 5k words+ and complete works only 😭
