Джей Лено, Роберт Де Ниро, Стив Бушеми, Рон Ховард, Роб Лоу, Колин Пауэлл, Том Хэнкс и десятки других людей записали видео с благодарностями за его многолетнюю помощь американским ветеранам.
Синиз занимается благотворительностью уже несколько десятилетий, а в 2011 году основал собственный фонд, который строит дома для ветеранов с инвалидностью, помогает раненым военным и семьям погибших солдат. Особое значение для него эта работа приобрела после роли лейтенанта Дэна, потерявшего обе ноги во Вьетнаме.
Видео подготовили к выходу автобиографии Синиза 12 февраля 2019 года. Особенно трогателен финал, когда появляется Хэнкс со словами: "Спасибо, лейтенант Дэн!".

ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND (1972) contains an unbroken 30-second shot that shows Alice magically shrinking in the frame after eating a magic mushroom, which continues to baffle people for over 50 years.
What you see really happened in one take with no cuts. There were no green screens, no compositing shots together and no digital VFX or CGI. It was captured in camera.
