i won't be here much the next days as i am on a trip. i hope in the meantime the sensible voices i cherished so much over the past days can continue to speak up. i desperately wish to see better news the coming week and i still have hope somehow

all my human army translators: i love & respect THE HELL out of you & your free labour. thankyou so so much for the effort youve put into contextualizing & adding cultural cues to bts' words for years. without you, i wouldnt have known bts at all.
nothing will replace you, ever.
i dearly love and appreciate namjoon and it hurts to see, but this is entirely his own doing. it is not armys fault that people beyond the fandom, especially a women organization react to this. you are sadly beyond deep in the patriarchic trenches

the gemini ads disgust me because they are using it to replace real people. translators, coaches, even advice from friends. i cannot understand how ARTISTS could agree to something like this, when even their careers are under attack from the exact thing they are endorsing

i feel bad for all the translation accounts. they were here for every live, translating every word. all those people who made in depth translations of their songs and their speeches.
this is really a slap in the face. even for those who spent hundreds of hours learning korean...
watching a man with a documented history of violence against women remain socially easy to embrace, and then seeing people we respect participate in that normalcy.
for a fandom made up largely of women, that is not a small thing to ask people to simply get over
#폭력반대ARMY
i don't like pointing fingers but i truly believe that the fact that this issue atp is seen as mainly a hate train is partly due to a lot of big accs avoiding taking a clear stance, highlighting hate and refusing to give space for emotions that they cannot empathize with.

"just leave the fandom" is another example of how society always wants women to leave. to ignore. to act as if nothing happened. to keep our mouths shut.
i don't want them to rush any real reflection at all, but a simple 'we heard you and are gathering our thoughts' would help preventing sooo much more pain and uncertainty right now. i and know, i hate too that this sounds like a demand but i guess we are at that point now

how tragic it is that we’re telling other armys to “be safe” at bts concerts because the environment now fostered by them and by particular ‘armys’ is no longer completely a safe space :(

take this with a grain of salt but during good times it's always "my best friends bts" & "apobangpo" but when things get a little uncomfortable it's suddenly "parasocial" and "you don't know them, they are strangers". like you cannot pick & choose the framing at your convenience

it's not our job as ARMY to go for chris brown who never showed on ounce of remorse. it's however our responsibility as women & ARMY to make sure BTS knows what we think about that association and how it continues to hurt us. what BTS will do with that knowledge is their decision
for me the last point in time where some kind of acknowledgement would make sense is the 4 days between the next concert in toronto. leaving possible hybe pr bullshit aside i can image that the members decided to give arlington armys another show as professionals and as a team. +
