For my #FatRatMemes contest entry, I chose an educational comic-style video to make the FATRAT story simple, engaging, and fun to understand.

So what's the bigger picture?
At the end of the day, FatRat is trying to make the act of holding $FRT more meaningful.
You have a transfer-tax mechanism, a SOL reward system for eligible holders, a treasury utilizing different SOL strategies, and publicly viewable on-chain information.

So what are all the pieces?
When you put everything together, FatRat is essentially combining several different components:
*$FRT — the native token
*3% transfer tax — the core fee mechanism
*SOL rewards — distributed to eligible holders pro rata

Transparency is a big part of the design
This is one of the things I find particularly interesting about the setup.
You can check the treasury information without having to connect your wallet just to look around.
No unnecessary wallet connection.
No transaction approval.
No signing something just to view information.
The website uses read-only blockchain data, allowing users to inspect the relevant treasury information themselves.
And as always in crypto, you should still verify information directly on-chain rather than blindly trusting anyone.

But FatRat isn't stopping at the token
There’s also a treasury behind the ecosystem.
FatRat publicly highlights several ways its treasury SOL can be deployed, including:
• Native Staked SOL
• PSOL
• JupSOL
The idea here is pretty straightforward: rather than having treasury assets simply sit around doing nothing, they can be used through staking and liquid-staking strategies.
And importantly, the treasury isn't something users just have to take the project's word for.

And this is where the rewards come in
One of the biggest parts of the FatRat model is the SOL reward system.
Eligible $FRT holders can receive SOL rewards distributed pro rata.
Basically, your share of the eligible $FRT holdings determines your share of the rewards.

Instead of the only reason to hold being “maybe the price goes up,” FatRat introduces another incentive:
