Congratulations to President Lula on a stunning, historic re-election.
A political comeback that will be remembered for generations to come.
This is a victory for the people, for the planet and for peace.

The Greens gaining in the polls while the entire machinery of the Establishment are hysterically screaming at them that they don’t belong in mainstream politics has got to be the funniest thing I’ve seen for a while
Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, the Green Party & many others are correct about Burnham’s climate vandalism in approving Jackdaw gas drilling. Odious evironmental hypocrisy from Labour. #BBCNewsatSix

His chancellor ordered this spy plane to fly over Gaza to collect intel for the genocidal Israeli military, with the information imparted in real-time
Of course Burnham doesn’t want an inquiry. His number 2 belongs in the Hague. We will not stop exposing the Labour génocidaires
NEW: Andy Burnham has officially rejected Jeremy Corbyn's call for a public inquiry into "British complicity" in Gaza.
The former Labour leader wrote to the PM in July asking him to back his Private Member's Bill for a Chilcot-style inquiry, which would look at any UK military, economic or political cooperation with Israel since October 2023.
This would include the power to question ministers on the supply or use of weapons, surveillance aircraft and Royal Air Force bases.
The idea was rejected by Starmer. The govt have confirmed in response to a written question today that their position remains unchanged under Burnham, saying an inquiry isn't necessary due to the "extensive mechanisms already available for parliamentary accountability and oversight".
Corbyn said:“Andy Burnham rightly said that the last Labour government “got it wrong” over Gaza. But his words will mean very little if he doesn’t break with the last government’s shameful record of complicity, secrecy and evasion.
"Many of us will remember in the aftermath of Iraq, the government of the day spent many years resisting attempts to uncover the truth. In the end, they could not prevent the inevitable. Just like Iraq, we will remember those who obstructed the path to justice."

Today's decision by Labour to approve new drilling in the North Sea is climate vandalism.
It's a betrayal of all of our futures, and Labour has abandoned all credibility in the fight against climate change.
This is a victory for Shell over the people.

Will Labour next week in the budget tell us sad stories about "difficult decisions" and how there's "no money left?"
Or will this Labour Government challenge the broken economic thinking that has lead us to this place? And tax the assets of multimillionaires & billionaires?

Replying to @ZackPolanski
@ZackPolanski knocked it outta the park this morning.
They’ll probably think twice before letting him educate the nation so eloquently again.
So good to hear @ZackPolanski cut through the misinformation on @bbclaurak this morning.
The Green Party is the only party that fully supports Palestinian Liberation.

Labour are really showing themselves up.
They're comparing those of us demanding an end to the genocide with Reform and Tommy Robinson.
Keir Starmer may have gone - but his politics and our Governments commitment to arms licences very much remain.

“We have to call out bad behaviour wherever it exists.”
@Len_Duvall challenges the Greens’ ‘Zionism is racism’ motion, Reform’s attack on Sagal Abdi-Wali and Susan Hall speaking at a rally with Tommy Robinson, while acknowledging where Labour’s has faced up to its failures too.

The mask slips. The media class knows full well what the Labour Party is doing - using antisemitism as a toxic political football. Tawdry, irresponsible stuff from the Labour Party, little more than continuity Starmerism.

Apparently Sally Rooney is Antisemitic because she opposes genocide.
People in Ireland are Antisemitic because they oppose genocide.
This is why Andy Burnhams comments yesterday were so deeply irresponsible - blurring all the lines between being Jewish & criticising Israel.

I'm the only Jewish leader of a political party.
I'm a victim of Antisemitism every day and I've made it clear Jewish people are welcome in my party.
You're a Prime Minister who arms a genocide and locks pensioners up for opposing it.
Andy Burnham rules out any partnership between Labour and the Green Party due to their controversial motion declaring "Zionism is racism".

Today we marched for Palestine to mark 3 years of genocide.
3 years of bombardment, starvation and unspeakable crimes by Israel — armed, aided and abetted by governments all around the world, including our own.
The genocide never ended. Britain must stop arming Israel, now.

Impressive turnout for yesterday’s march in London to mark three years of Israel’s genocide in Gaza. #FreePalestine 🇵🇸
Nick Robinson is banging on for a second day about his perception of ‘extremists & racists’ in the Green Party. BBC bias & disinformation at its finest. #r4today
Only two Jeremy Corbyn smears from tonight’s rightwing know-nothing #bbcaq panel. Surely Darren Jones & Tim Montgomerie can do better than that.

This discussion this week has reminded me that:
1. The media will do everything it can to twist the narrative to undermine anyone that stands against the establishment.
After the incredible success the Greens have had in the last year, absolutely ridiculous that every news debate today about if Zack should go.
2. You get far more hassle for calling out racism than for actually being a racist.
Utterly deranged ‘suicide bombers & Jeremy Corbyn’ questioning from Nick Robinson. Good to hear calm, coherent responses from Green Party leader Zack Polanski. #r4today
