I have REALLY got to vet people better apparently. I was following a "goth" who was hella transpobic and slightly racist. I was wondering why I was seeing right wing bullshit in my feed. God that pisses me off so badly, fucking fake ass goth poseurs.
Historically speaking elders used to really care if the youth succeeded or not. They'd offer wisdoms, recipes, stories, comfort, and would gather everyone together. In America anyways, sometimes it feels as though this concept is a lost art. I blame capitalism and boomers tbh.
